Towns to Surrender Zoar Bridge

The towns of Oxford and Monroe have voted, in pursuance of an act passed by the late legislature, to surrender Zoar Bridge over the Housatonic to the county.  Attorney Webb, for the towns, appeared before the county commissioners to ascertain what form of surrender was necessary. A joint meeting of the county commissioners of this and Fairfield counties will be held soon to decide the matter.
