Bridge Toll-keeper's house and store. See news articles of the New
Haven Register, Nov. 3, 1891 and Nov. 17, 1891, in which Mr. Stowe, who
claimed ownership of the store was ordered to vacate the premises,
because the County Commissioners contended it was a hazard to the
wooden towers which held the suspension bridge, recently turned over
from the Towns of Oxford and Monroe to New Haven and Fairfield Counties.
