Josiah
Smith House was just south of Zoar Bridge. It was listed in the
Architec- tural Survey conducted by the WPA during the depression,
although it had al- ready been submerged in Lake Zoar. It is shown on
the Beers map in 1868 under P. Smith, for Philo Smith, son of Josiah.
