March is Women's History Month. This month we will feature 100 photos of Oxford's women through history. Today's photos are all from the Marilyn Stebar family photo album.

The first photo shows three lady friends sitting on a log fence. Left to right, Sarah Hawkins, Ella Beebe (who became wife of Robert Z. Hawkins), and Idele Beebe (who became Mrs. Louise Tomlinson) with Elsie Stanton’s house in background.

The second photo shows Mrs. Grace Hawkins Roberts holding a horse by the halter. Others in the photo include Louisa Hawkins and Elsie
Stanton. The horse is in front of the Hawkins homestead located at 410 Quaker Farms Road.

The third photo was taken in August 1917 and shows a group of
young women. Carrie Pratt is in the center of the group.
