March is Women's History Month. This month we will feature 100 photos of Oxford's women through history.

The final photo shows a scenario of a sewing bee from the 1935 Connecticut Tercentennial Celebration. Shown are Gertrude Hayes, Catherine Beardsley and Flora Roberts in front of the 1795 Silas Hawkins House. The red saltbox, located at 410 Quaker Farms Road, was built by Silas Hawkins around 1795.
